Unknown Crist
This book is not pop psychology or pop religion, so it requires some effort. It is largely for those who have lost God and want to find Him, for those who want to believe but can’t.
So the first chapters strive to create a foundation, something firm to stand on, and that is a practical, muscular Christianity. I assure you this is not a “Come to Jesus” book. What Jesus taught and practiced can affect our everyday life, making it better, more interesting and meaningful. Not pie in the sky when you die, but right here, right now, in our stressful everyday life.
So here is a brief overview, although the Summaries describe every chapter. The parts of the book are divided into:
- A living, muscular Christianity that a rational, scientifically oriented person can accept,
- An understanding of the world that is not materialistic, idealistic, or dualistic,
- A method of the Process to help open us to the spiritual power the early Christians had. It helped them heal and gave them courage.
